SWOSU TKEs Hosting Annual Dodgeball Tournament

As Patches O’Houlihan once said, “If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.”

For all Southwestern Oklahoma State University students, area high school students and other adults wanting to test their dodging skills, the SWOSU Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity will host its 3rd annual Dodgeball Tournament on Wednesday, November 9, at 6 p.m. on Center Court in the Wellness Center on the Weatherford campus.

Games are five-on-five with at least two female players on each team. The entry fee is $5 per player and must be paid before the tournament begins. All participants will also have to sign a medical waiver.

Local merchants have donated cash and gifts to be awarded to the winners. Frank ‘N’ Steins will be at the event selling hotdogs, brats and drinks. TKE Theta Class President Lucas Coody said all proceeds from concessions and entry fees will provide the TKE pledge class with monetary assistance on membership dues and provide funds for various philanthropies that TKE offers throughout the year.

Registration forms are in the SWOSU Dean of Students Office, Stafford Center Room 211, or at the Wellness Center front desk.
