SWOSU Plays Mind Games Opening Match on March 28

Southwestern Oklahoma State University will play its opening match of the Mind Games competition this Wednesday, March 28, at 8 p.m. on KSBI-TV in Oklahoma City.

SWOSU is competing against other Oklahoma colleges and universities in this second season of Mind Games, which is a buzzer-quiz game comparable to Quiz Bowl or Jeopardy. The game is based on knowledge in all academic fields, and students compete for scholarship money.

SWOSU will play its opening round match against Connors State College, a team that made it to last fall’s semifinals like SWOSU.

Coach Dr. Kevin Collins said team members are: Zeke Mills, Springfield MO; Gaston Hart, Edmond (Santa Fe); Tanner Fisher, Calumet; Erika Christner, Drummond; and Jim Ferguson, Elk City.

SWOSU students won $10,750 in scholarship money during the inaugural season of Mind Games this past fall.
