Social Work Program No Longer Offered at SWOSU

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education recently approved the suspension of the Bachelor of Social Work program at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

According to SWOSU Provost Dr. Blake Sonobe, the program was suspended due to declining student interest and enrollment.  With the program suspension, students will no longer be permitted to declare a social work major.  For students already in the program, courses will continue to be provided to enable them to graduate.
