Enrollment Management Staff Changes Announced at SWOSU


Enrollment Management Staff
Jonna Myers (from left), Jessica Skinner and Shelby Unruh all have new assignments in the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Enrollment Management Department on the Weatherford campus.

The Southwestern Oklahoma State University Enrollment Management Department has several staffing changes that recently took place on the Weatherford campus.

Jonna Myers, Shelby Unruh and Jessica Skinner are now involved in the areas of career services, admissions and recruitment and the New Student Orientation program.

Jonna Myers is career services coordinator. Myers recently received a Master of Science in College Student Personnel in December, 2012, from Arkansas Tech University. Myers attended SWOSU as an undergraduate student and completed a Bachelor of Art in Communication Arts in May, 2010. In addition to her Career Services duties, she is also serving as an adjunct faculty in the Communication and Theatre department. She is a graduate of Prague High School.

Shelby (Adams) Unruh recently switched from New Student Orientation to the Admissions & Recruitment Office where she took on the responsibilities of the recruiter position. Unruh, a graduate of Sanford-Fritch (TX) High School, served four years as the NSO coordinator before accepting this new position. She received her Master of Business Administration from SWOSU in May 2010 and a Bachelor of Business Administration (accounting emphasis) in December 2007.  

Jessica (Boersma) Skinner was named the New Student Orientation coordinator. She has worked within the SWOSU NSO Office since January 2012. Skinner is currently pursuing a Master of Education in School Counseling, which she will complete in December 2013. Jessica, a graduate of Norman High School, attended the University of Oklahoma earning her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Journalism & Advertising.

“All three work together to make SWOSU orientation and enrollment sessions successful and worthwhile for our new students and their families,” said Todd Boyd, director of enrollment management at SWOSU.
