SWOSU Hosting Oklahoma FTC Robotics Regional Qualifier this Saturday


Southwestern Oklahoma State University is the host of a First Tech Challenge (FTC) Oklahoma Regional Qualifier this Saturday, February 2.

Students from 16 high schools from across Oklahoma will descend upon the Weatherford campus for a day of robotics competition, judging events, and interviews regarding technical prowess.

Of the 16 schools, six will advance to the regional championship that will also be held at SWOSU on March 1-2. Thirty-two teams will compete that weekend for an opportunity to advance to the worldwide competition held in St. Louis at the end of April.

The FTC is a robotics competition that includes 3,000 teams from around the globe.
