Brown Bag Lunch to feature Presentation on a Social Psychology Perspective


This month’s Research Interest Group brown bag lunch at SWOSU will take place Thursday, February 28, from 12 noon until 1 p.m. in the East Ballroom of the Memorial Student Center on the Weatherford campus.

Thursday’s topic will be “Undergraduate Research:  A Social Psychology Perspective” presented by Dr. Melinda Burgess of the Department of Psychology.  Dr. Burgess will discuss the undergraduate research process in her lab highlighting the pros and cons of incorporating undergraduates into the research process.

The public is invited. Drinks and dessert will be provided; bring a lunch or purchase one on the main floor of the union and bring to the second floor.

The Brown Bag Lunch Series is for the purpose of celebrating and discussing research at SWOSU.  The research is explained in layman’s terms with the focus on making the work accessible to everyone present.

The final Research Interest Group brown-bag lunch of the spring semester is scheduled for Thursday, March 28.
