SWOSU's 20th Annual Research & Scholarly Activity Fair Planned April 16

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s 20th annual Research and Scholarly Activity Fair will be held Tuesday, April 16, at the SWOSU Memorial Student Union Ballroom in Weatherford.

The fair will be held from 12 noon until 3 p.m. with SWOSU President Randy Beutler making opening remarks at 12:15 p.m. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The SWOSU Research and Scholarly Activity Fair showcases the research and scholarly activities of undergraduate students who have made an inquiry or investigation that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to their discipline. Over 100 students and faculty members will take part this year, representing the disciplines of Biology, Psychology, Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Education, Computer Science, Art, Music and Athletic Training.

“We invite the campus and area residents to wander through and share the students’ inquiry or investigation into their fields of study,” said Daphne Burns, director of the SWOSU Office of Sponsored Programs. “Please join us in our celebration of undergraduate research!”
