SWOSU Students Honored as Greek Man and Woman of the Year

Greek Man and Woman of the Year
The Southwestern Oklahoma State University Greek alumni team  has named the 2013 Greek Man and Woman of the Year on the Weatherford campus and,  for the first time, there was a two-way tie for both awards. Winners are (from left):  Enid junior Zac Gulick; Piedmont junior Davie Owen; Yukon senior Lyndsey Kean; and Flemington (MO) senior Todd Nix. According to Greek Council Sponsor Cindy Dougherty, there are eight alumni on the committee and their votes split on both the man and woman of the year. The four students will share the honors and all four are listed on the permanent plaque in Stafford Center.  They each received $100 in addition to a trophy. The students will also be honored at the Greek Life sponsored OOZEball Tournament on August 18 at 5 p.m. at the SWOSU sand volleyball courts.
