Fall Festival Planned Wednesday at SWOSU-Sayre


A fall festival featuring food, music, costume contest and fun games is planned this Wednesday, October 30, on the Sayre campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Belinda Graham said booths and activities will open at 9 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. in Patterson Field House on the Sayre-SWOSU campus. Everyone is invited.

Various foods will be available starting at 11 a.m. SWOSU students will get a free plate by showing their SWOSU I.D. The costume contest and pumpkin painting judging takes place at 1 p.m. and prizes will be awarded. Costume categories will include Best Villain, Best Superhero, Best Renaissance Related, Scariest and Best SWOSU Related Costume. There will be a grand prize for the best overall winner.

Featured foods during the day will be turkey legs and BBQ sandwiches prepared by the Smokin’ Rib Wagon. Cotton candy, caramel apples and popcorn balls will be available.
