SWOSU Mind Games Team Runs Past Cameron, 780-350


Southwestern Oklahoma State University Mind Games “White” team defeated Cameron University “Gold” 780-350 on November 17 to advance to the semifinals of the Oklahoma collegiate academic competition that is aired weekly on KSBI-TV in Oklahoma City.

The SWOSU “White” team will now await its next opponent on December 15. The opponent will either be the SWOSU “Blue” team or Oklahoma City University “Blue”, which meet in a quarterfinal match on December 1 at 6:30 p.m.

Members of the SWOSU White team are: Zeke Mills, Springfield MO; Will Robinson, Canton; and Keegan Coon of Davenport. Coach is Dr. Fred Gates, professor of history at SWOSU.

The students compete for scholarship money provided by The Chickasaw Nation and Oklahoma Energy Resources Board.
