SWOSU Students and Faculty Raise Impressive Amounts for Special Causes

SWOSU pharmacy students and faculty joined forces with the Agape Medical Clinic to raise nearly $24,213.12 at a recent fundraising dinner for the clinic. A $10,000 donation from B.O.P. Ram Block and Iron Rental boosted the impressive total.

SWOSU College of Pharmacy students and faculty have recently raised money for various special causes.

Pharmacy students and faculty banded together with board of directors of the Agape Medical Clinic, Inc. to raise $24,213.12 at a recent fundraiser to benefit the clinic, which is dedicated to serving people with medical needs throughout western Oklahoma. The dinner raised a record $24,213.12, aided by a $10,000 donation from B.O.P Ram Block and Iron Rental.

Students of the College of Pharmacy and School of Nursing combined efforts to donate holiday gifts to Operation Christmas Child. Over 40 boxes of supplies were collected for child recipients from around the world.

And, Kappa Epsilon raised nearly $540 at its annual chili supper with $100 of the proceeds benefiting a local woman who is battling breast cancer and the remaining funds going to the Young Survival Coalition.
