Science and Math Academy for High School Students Coming to SWOSU

High school juniors and seniors are invited to apply for the 2014 Summer Science and Mathematics Academy coming June 15-27 on the Weatherford campus.

The SSMA is designed to give 25 high school students a two-week experience in science, mathematics and technology.

Dr. Brian Campbell, director of the SSMA, said the program is designed to motivate students towards pursuing higher education and careers in the STEM disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Students will stay in the SWOSU residence halls, dine in the cafeteria, and take a variety of courses. SSMA will feature extensive laboratory and field experience and problem-solving competitions.
