SWOSU Pharmacy Frat Hosting Breast Cancer Survivors Dinner this Tuesday

Kappa Epsilon, a professional pharmacy fraternity at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, is having a Breast Cancer Survivors Dinner this Tuesday, September 30, in Weatherford.

The dinner is a fundraiser for Susan G. Komen to go towards finding a cure. The dinner also honors those in western Oklahoma that are fighting, have won the fight, or have lost the fight to breast cancer.

The dinner will be held at 7 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Weatherford. The meal being provided is going to be Italian food.  The tickets are $7 and are available at the door the night of the dinner.

“This event has historically been a lot of fun for those who attend,” said Julia Hendrickson of KE.

Guest speaker this year will be Dr. Lisa Appeddu, associate professor in the SWOSU College of Pharmacy.
