SWOSU Group Participates in Women in Science Conference

Several Southwestern Oklahoma State University students and faculty recently attended the Women in Science Conference in Tulsa that is sponsored by Oklahoma EPSCoR (Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research).  The purpose of this conference is to encourage students in grades 6-12 to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) careers.  Several organizations and departments represented SWOSU at the conference and provided hands-on STEM activities including the Chemistry Club, Society for Women Engineers, Medical Professions Club, Psychology Club, Department of Education and the computer science program.
