Michael J. Nault of Colleyville (TX) and a 1989 graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s College of Pharmacy has donated $25,000 to establish a scholarship fund on the Weatherford campus.

The Michael J. Nault Endowed Scholarship Fund has been established with the Southwestern Pharmacy Foundation to benefit pharmacy students at SWOSU.

Nault is chief executive officer/manager of Hospice Pharmacy Solutions (HPS), a national firm, in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

“We are truly thankful for the new endowed scholarship established by Mike,” said Patti Harper, director of alumni and development with the SWOSU College of Pharmacy.” This is a tremendous commitment and a great way to support our pharmacy students.”

Nault’s hometown is Hitchcock (OK) and he is a graduate of Lomega High School. He and his wife, Lisa, have three daughters. He credits his mother (Josie Nault of Watonga) and his late father (James) for always encouraging him to go to SWOSU and become a pharmacist.

“SWOSU provided me not only with my degree in pharmacy but the ability to think through opportunities and apply those solutions to life,” Nault said. “The thought process and way of looking at (and creating) opportunities have been invaluable to my career. I want to make sure others have those same opportunities.”

While at SWOSU, Nault was active with Kappa Psi pharmacy fraternity.
