SWOSU Jazz Ensembles Plan March 12 Concert

SWOSU Jazz Ensemble “A” performs at the recent 2015 SWOSU Jazz Festival.  The “A” and “B” jazz ensembles will perform in concert on Thursday, March 12, at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center on the Weatherford campus.

The SWOSU Jazz Ensembles will present a concert this Thursday, March 12, on the Weatherford campus.

Admission is free, and the public is invited to the 7 p.m. concert in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium.

Dr. Richard Tirk, assistant professor of music, said the concert will feature both Jazz Ensembles ‘A’ and ‘B’ and musical highlights will include the Ellington classics Take the A Train, Isfahan, I’m just a lucky so and so, SWOSU alum Dave Hanson’s Passado and other selections.
