SWOSU CEBD Places 13 Interns

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Center for Economic and Business Development has placed 13 students in various internship positions this summer.

Lisa Thiessen of the CEBD said the internships provide many opportunities for the students. They learn job skills in such areas as chemistry, graphic design, engineering and athletic training, for example.

The students are working in various locations around western Oklahoma and on the SWOSU campus. Many academic departments at SWOSU also place interns in various businesses and agencies. For more information about opportunities available to students through the Center for Economic and Business Development, contact Thiessen at lisa.thiessen@swosu.edu.
