SWOSU to Host National ACT Day this Saturday

Southwestern Oklahoma State University will be the site for a national American College Testing (ACT) day this Saturday, October 24.

Around 150 area high school students have registered for Saturday’s test on the Weatherford campus that will take place in the Thomas P. Stafford Center.

Participating students are asked to meet in the lobby of the Stafford Center no later than 8 a.m. The test is expected to last until approximately 12:30-1 p.m.

According to Jan Kliewer of the SWOSU Assessment Center, most of the students taking the test are juniors and seniors, but ages range from 13-18. She said some middle school students are eligible to take the test early as a reward for good academic performances.
