SWOSU Disc Dawgs Qualify for National Tourney

The SWOSU Disc Dawgs have qualified for the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championship that will be held April 13-16 in South Carolina.

The SWOSU Disc Dawgs qualified for the national tournament with a second place finish at the Mid-South Collegiate Open. All four members of the team finished in the top 25 with Austin Hannum of Perry finishing as the top scoring individual, taking home the first place medal.

The SWOSU Disc Dawgs have two teams, and both competed this past fall in the Texas Collegiate Championships and Mid-South Collegiate Open. SWOSU is ranked #32 in the nation.

Members of the 2015-2016 Disc Dawgs are Austin Hannum, Perry; Matt Mauldin, Beggs; Austin Carter, Oklahoma City; Mason Snider, Duncan; Adam Fuller, Blanchard; Casey Jiles, Weatherford; Noe Ruiz, Marlow; and John Srader, Weatherford.
