SWOSU to be Busy Place on Saturday

Southwestern Oklahoma State University will be a busy place this Saturday, February 13, with robotics and vocal solo/ensemble contests planned as well as basketball games and the SWOSU Athletic Hall of Fame luncheon.

The robotics competition takes place all day in the Wellness Center, the OSSAA Vocal Solo/Ensemble event is in the Fine Arts Center and Berrong Recital Hall, and the two athletic events take place in the Pioneer Cellular Event Center, all on the Weatherford campus.

The robotics competition will feature students from around the state of Oklahoma, and the district vocal contest will feature students from around the area as they look to earn scores to advance to the state vocal contest.

SWOSU’s Athletic Hall of Fame banquet takes place at 11 a.m. in the Pioneer Cellular Event Center Skyview Suite with SWOSU’s basketball teams scheduled to play Southern Nazarene University at 1 and 3 p.m.
