SWOSU Biology Club Gearing Up for Plant Sale in April

There are nights when lots of activity takes place at the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Greenhouse on the north side of the Weatherford campus.

It’s a work night for members of the SWOSU Biology Club.

The SWOSU students are busy working with a variety of plants that will be available for purchase on April 21 in the Memorial Student Center. Among the plants are geraniums, cacti, succulents, tomatoes, peppers, herbs and tropical plants.

All of the profits made from the April sale will go to the Biology Club to help pay for their annual banquet and send students to the Tri Beta Conference.

SWOSU students are invited to help with the work nights that are held every Tuesday from 6-7 p.m. in the Greenhouse, located just north of Rogers and Jefferson Halls.
