SWOSU's Research and Scholarly Activity Fair is Tuesday

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s 23rd annual Research and Scholarly Activity Fair will be held this Tuesday, April 19, on the Weatherford campus, and the public is invited to attend the event featuring over 235 students and faculty.

The free fair will be held from 12-3 p.m. in the SWOSU Memorial Student Center Ballroom. Executive Vice President Tom Fagan and College of Professional and Graduate Studies Dean Dr. Ken Rose will make opening remarks at 12:20 p.m.

The SWOSU Research and Scholarly Activity Fair showcases the research and scholarly activities of undergraduate students who have made an inquiry or investigation that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to their discipline. 

Students and faculty from the following disciplines will present: School of Nursing; Departments of Art, Communication, and Theatre; Biological Sciences; Business and Computer Science; Chemistry and Physics; Education; Engineering Technology; Language and Literature; Music; Pharmaceutical Sciences; Psychology; and Social Sciences. In addition, there are poster presentations from the Western Technology Center Biomedical Academy.
