Four SWOSU Vocal Students Make Finals in Competition

Four Southwestern Oklahoma State University vocal students in Weatherford were finalists at the recent Oklahoma district of the National Association of the Teachers of Singers (NATS) competition.  

Alyssa Garcia of Markham (TX), Kristen Williams and Ashton Jung, both of Cache, all students of Dr. Robin Griffeath, and Avery Morrison of Owasso, a student of Dr. Kristin Griffeath, were finalists in their respective age divisions. Jung placed third in the senior women category.

Other students who competed at the competition were: Brianna Boyce, Marlow; Oscar Hernandez, Chickasha; Ali Oldright, Duncan; Samantha Trinidad, Moore; Anna Willman, Oklahoma City; and Kendra Place, Washington.
