SWOSU CEBD Continues to Help Businesses and Students

The Center for Economic and Business Development at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford continues to focus on increasing the economic vitality of western Oklahoma.

In addition to helping businesses and residents, the CEBD remains an educational endeavor that has several programs to encourage people with assisting communities grow and improving business success.

One of the most recent cases involving an area business was an economic study for Bar-S Foods. Through this partnership, Bar-S Foods recruited new employees from the CEBD student intern program.

According to CEBD Research Analyst Lisa Thiessen, research analyst, the center offers services including business startup, training, consulting and continuing education.
