Evolution and Its 21st Century Impact is Focus of Wednesday Talk at SWOSU

“The Evolution of Evolution and its 21st Century Impact” is the focus for the kickoff seminar of the 2016-17 Southwestern Oklahoma State University Department of Biological Sciences Maness Seminar Series in Weatherford.

The 4 p.m. talk this Wednesday, August 31, will be presented by Dr. Joseph (Jody) Maness in Old Science Building Room 212. Admission is free, and the public is invited. Light refreshments will be provided.

Maness is SWOSU faculty emeritus within the department.  Over the years, Maness has encouraged and fostered a long tradition of bringing scientists from across the state, region and country to meet with SWOSU students and faculty in order to share their experiences and broaden students’ perspectives on science and the opportunities available to them beyond their undergraduate years.
