The Fall 2016 edition of Echoes From The Hill, the magazine of Southwestern Oklahoma State University friends, supporters, alumni and emeriti, is now available for viewing online at

The paper copies of the magazine hit mailboxes in early November.

Along with information about the recent 2016 SWOSU Homecoming festivities, the latest Echoes features:

  • Lori Harper of Gulfport, Mississippi (Class of 1993), current vice president of Ingalls Shipbuilding;
  • The “Launch!” Campaign for SWOSU physics scholarships;
  • Blaine Boyd of Washington, DC (Class of 2014), current Director of Correspondence to First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama;
  • SWOSU’s international student activities;
  • 2017’s planned SWOSU alumni trip to the Canadian Rockies; and more.

Echoes From The Hill is a joint publication of the SWOSU Foundation, Inc., and the SWOSU Alumni Association, Inc. The SWOSU Foundation, Inc. was established in 1977 to promote philanthropy and distribute funds to support the activities and programs of SWOSU. The Foundation currently stewards over $20 million in assets for the benefit of SWOSU. The SWOSU Alumni Association, Inc. is a dynamic group of volunteers from all walks of life who are passionate about giving back to SWOSU. The association offers members a variety of benefits and event opportunities. Both organizations are headquartered on the Weatherford campus in the historic Burton House and are working together daily to ensure that SWOSU’s second century is as remarkable as its first.
