SWOSU Alumni and Friends Invited to Voice Opinions

Alumni, current students, emeriti, current/former employees and friends of Southwestern Oklahoma State University are being invited to participate in a new survey sponsored by the SWOSU Foundation, Inc.

“The survey is an opportunity for anyone who has a connection of any kind to SWOSU to offer up their insights on how we can be a better institution,” said SWOSU President Dr. Randy L. Beutler. “It is more important than ever that the perspectives of our partners both on and off-campus, along with the views of our thousands of alumni, emeriti, and supporters worldwide, be taken into account as we undertake the hard work of advancing this great university.”

The survey—Alumni, Emeriti, & Friends (AEFs) Survey—is coordinated and privately funded by the SWOSU Foundation, Inc. as a part of the foundation’s regular strategic alignment process with the university.

“This information will help to inform the work of SWOSU’s Office of Institutional Advancement along with the tireless efforts of SWOSU’s independent charitable partners at the SWOSU Foundation and the SWOSU Alumni Association,” said SWOSU Assistant to the President & Director of Institutional Advancement Garrett King. “The higher the completion rate the greater the success of the survey in being a useful roadmap to a bright future for SWOSU.”

The survey may be completed online by visiting www.SWOSUAEFSurvey.com or in paper form by calling the SWOSU Foundation at 580-774-3267 to request a survey and prepaid return envelope.

Each individual who completes the survey will be eligible to win one of five $1,000 SWOSU scholarships, compliments of the SWOSU Foundation.

The deadline for completing of the survey is May 31.

The 2017 SWOSU AEFs survey is sponsored and funded by the SWOSU Foundation, Inc. The Foundation was established in 1977 to promote philanthropy and distribute funds to support the activities and programs of SWOSU. Located on the Weatherford campus in the historic Burton House, the Foundation currently manages over $20 million in assets for the benefit of SWOSU.
