Alexander, Hummel and Davis Named to New Positions at SWOSU

Three Southwestern Oklahoma State University employees have new positions on the Weatherford campus.

Taler Alexander is the new Assistant Director of Enrollment Management, Heather Hummel is Career Services Coordinator and Haley Davis is New Student Orientation Coordinator.  

Alexander grew up in Weatherford and holds two degrees from SWOSU, a B.S. in Special Education and a M.Ed. in School Counseling. During her time as a student at SWOSU, she was an orientation leader and member of the President’s Leadership Class. Prior to being named assistant director, Alexander was New Student Orientation Coordinator for three years. She and her husband, Cody, live in Weatherford.

Davis is now New Student Orientation Coordinator. She was raised in Lookeba and will complete a B.S. in Special Education from SWOSU this December. Over the last four years, Davis has served as an orientation leader and on the Supreme Court for the Student Government Association. Before being hired as coordinator, Davis was employed by the NSO office as a student worker for three years.

Hummel is the new Career Services Coordinator. She holds a B.S. in Parks and Recreation Management degree from SWOSU and is currently working on a M.Ed. in School Counseling. Hummel has been employed by SWOSU since 2011. Prior to being named to her new position, Hummel was the Administrative Assistant in the Parks and Recreation Department. She and her husband, Paul, along with their two daughters, live in Weatherford.
