SWOSU Fall Enrollment Highest Since 1993

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s enrollment for the 2017 fall semester is the highest since 1993.

SWOSU President Randy Beutler said the official number is 5,458 for both the Weatherford and Sayre campuses. SWOSU’s previous high enrollment in 1993 was 5,553.

SWOSU had an increase of 1.9% from the 2016 fall semester and is the fourth straight year for a fall semester enrollment increase.

The Weatherford campus has 5,123 students and the Sayre campus has 584 students, noting that some students take classes on both campuses.
