Weatherford Mayor Proclaims November 28 as SWOSU #GivingTuesday

Weatherford Mayor Mike Brown (SWOSU Class of 1978) has proclaimed November 28, 2017 as SWOSU #GivingTuesday.

“The City of Weatherford is proud to partner with SWOSU on the Giving Tuesday competition with NWOSU,” Brown said. “We hope to be victorious over NWOSU in money raised, but in the end we are all winners by providing scholarships for the students.”

“We are so fortunate to be a part of the Weatherford community,” said SWOSU President Dr. Randy L. Beutler. “This proclamation from the City of Weatherford and Mayor Brown means a great deal to the SWOSU community as it continues to show the incredible relationship between the City of Weatherford and SWOSU. We encourage everyone to help give the Bulldogs a victory over the Rangers and make a #GivingTuesday donation today!”

Until December 5, SWOSU is competing with Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva in a contest to see which institution can raise the most funds for student scholarships and grants.
