SWOSU Computer Club Students Win Awards at Heartland Gaming Expo
Southwestern Oklahoma State University Computer Club students in Weatherford recently won several awards at the recent Heartland Gaming Expo held at the University of Tulsa.
In the Code Jam competition, Charles Long of Norman, Andrew Womack of Bray-Doyle, Kamuela Ahuna of Bray-Doyle and Alex Cassidy of Duncan won the first place trophy and the People’s Choice Award.
Students participating in the Gallery Show: Game Design were Ahuna, Cassidy, Womack, Lane Fikes of Yukon and Jacob Miller of Bray-Doyle, who brought home the second place trophy as well as the People’s Choice Award.
Students participating in the Game Showcase were Brooklyn Huff of Marlow and Noah Camp of Altus, who won second place.
Also attending the expo were SWOSU Computer Club sponsors Dr. Karen Sweeney and Hayden Harrington.
