Kalie Kerth Appointed to Serve on Child Welfare and Foster Care Board
Dr. Kalie Kerth, assistant professor and rural health clinical pharmacist in the Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy in Weatherford, has been appointed by Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin to serve on the State Post Adjudication Review Advisory Board.
The board is part of the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth and oversees the implementation of the state post adjudication review program.
Some of the duties of the board is to recommend solutions to any issue concerning child welfare and foster care services within the child welfare delivery system. Kerth will participate in statewide planning and the promotion of foster parent involvement in local planning for child welfare services.
Kerth, who has worked at SWOSU since 2014, is one of 21 members appointed by the governor.
