The Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO) at Southwestern Oklahoma State University invites area residents to several events in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month on the Weatherford campus.

Upcoming events are:  

Latin Dance Night

  • Tuesday, September 24
  • 8:00 p.m.
  • SWOSU Ballroom

Hosted by HALO, there will be night of dance: salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata and more

Taco Sale

  • Monday, September 30

  • Pioneer Cellular Event Center 

HALO in conjunction with Casa Soto invites everyone at the fundraising event

Hispanic Heritage Celebration

  • Friday, October 4
  • 5:00 p.m.

It will be a night of celebrating the rich culture of Hispanic heritage with guest speakers Claudia Rivas Taylor of OKC Gear Up and Angela Vivar, former Miss Latina Oklahoma
