Everett Dobson School of Business & Technology
Message from the Associate Dean
Dr. Les Crall
Thank you for your interest in the Everett Dobson School of Business and Technology. It is an exciting time to be associated with Southwestern Oklahoma State University. We are proud to host through the Industrial & Engineering Technology Department the “First Tech Challenge” (FTC) robotics competition which is the only competition of its kind in Oklahoma. The Computer Science program is busy working with NASA grants and setting up their own server room. Another popular program that we are excited to offer is a course in Forensic Computing that has proven very popular with Accounting majors as well as Computer Science majors. Internships are plentiful for students in the Accounting, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing programs. The student organization Phi Beta Lambda is very active on campus and has participated in both the state and national conventions. We would like to welcome The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) with which we maintain our accreditation. They will be visiting our campus in early January to look at our business programs. The self study is based upon 2009-2010 academic year, and has been submitted to IACBE, it can be found on the Everett Dobson School of Business & Technology webpage.
Our Graduate Programs within the School of Business have been experiencing phenomenal growth and we now boast two very popular degrees in the College of Professional and Graduate Studies, the traditional Master of Business Administration and the Master of Science (Management).
My deepest appreciation goes to our students, faculty, staff, and alumni who continue to support and strengthen our business and technology programs. At Southwestern the “Focus is You”.
