SWOSU Campuses

Far Enough, but not so far

Weatherford is one of the top-ten, fastest-growing small cities in the United States.

Welcome to Southwestern Oklahoma State University! We’re known for our quality academic programs and our friendly service to students, alumni and friends. Located in western Oklahoma, students can take classes on campuses in Weatherford and Sayre. We offer associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. Today’s students have a choice on how and where they attend classes. You can go the traditional route and attend on-campus classes on either of our beautiful campuses  or you might choose to take classes online. We offer some degrees completely online!

Weatherford

SWOSU’s main campus sits on a windswept hilltop in Weatherford, OK. It’s about an hour away from Oklahoma City… which is close enough to attend concerts, dine out, catch a Thunder game, do what you do to have a good time… but, far enough from outside distractions so that you can concentrate on your studies. The main campus provides the experience of a traditional college campus with eateries, residence halls, academic buildings, libraries, fitness and health centers and research facilities. Weatherford is a thriving community with several museums, community parks, a movie theater, a library, a hospital, a wind energy park and a historic Towne Center.
