Concurrent FAQs:
High school students must have a 20 or higher ACT composite OR and 3.0 GPA & Rank in the top half of their graduating class to be eligible for concurrent enrollment. See the Concurrent Enrollment Form above for a full list of Concurrent Policies.
Follow the steps above and complete the Admissions application, Concurrent Enrollment Form, and submit transcripts. You will need a new Concurrent Enrollment Form for each semester.
We always advise concurrent students to discuss any schedule changes with their high school counselor as it may affect the high school schedule. If you would like to drop a class, you can use the Concurrent Drop Form to notify your advisor.
Students must fill out a FERPA release through their goSWOSU account under Self-Service, User Account, and FERPA Release. The FERPA Release allows the student to give parents or guardians access to different types of information and assign a pin number so they may call on the student’s behalf to ask questions. Use these Step-by-Step Directions to fill out the waiver.
Students can access their bill in their goSWOSU account, under Self-Service, then Student Finance. Payments can be made by selecting the semester and then clicking “Make a Payment.” For questions regarding billing, you can call the Bursar’s Office at 580.774.6018.
If you’re taking in-person classes, your class schedule can be found in your goSWOSU account, under Self-Service, then Student Planning. It will give you meeting times and locations.
If you are taking online classes, your class information will be in your goSWOSU account, under Canvas. Most Canvas courses won’t open until the first day of classes.
You can access an unofficial copy of your transcript in Self Service in your GoSWOSU account. If you need an official transcript, you can complete a Transcript Request for a small fee.
