STEM & STEAM Educator's Professional Development Program

Educators Professional Development Program

The Educators Professional Development (PD) Program was conducted for the first time in 2021.  The goal of this program is to provide K-12 teachers with ideas, resources, and contacts to bring STEM/STEAM back to their classrooms. Therefore, they will enrich the education of even more Oklahoma students beyond camp.

The program consists of K-12 teachers participating in a one-day workshop during Spring 2022 and for two days during the week of camp (June 12 – 18, 2022) on the SWOSU campus in Weatherford, OK.  In turn, they each receive a stipend, room and board, and a spending allowance for supplies.  Participants will also have opportunities to network with fellow teachers and STEAM professionals

If you are a K-12 teacher and want to become part of the 2022 or future Educators PD Programs, indicate your interest on the SAGE STEAM Camp Nomination Form or Email your name and contact information.

Deadline is the end of January 2022.

Preference is given to those who teach 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grades.
