Welcome to Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s (SWOSU) Gear Up text messaging program. By opting in, you agree to the following terms and understand how your information will be used.
Program Description
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS or MMS messages you’re your SWOSU Gear Up College Coach. These messages may include important updates, reminders, deadlines, and event invitations.
Consent
By opting in, you authorize your SWOSU Gear Up College Coach to send automated text messages to the number you provided. Consent is not required as a condition of enrollment, admission, or purchase.
Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary based on your engagement with SWOSU communications.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and will no longer receive texts unless you opt in again.

Mobile Carriers
Participating carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to participate. If you are under 18, please obtain permission from a parent or guardian before opting in.
