Southwestern Oklahoma State University maintains an Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) to assist faculty, staff, and students in all aspects of applying for and administering research grants and contracts. The university also has a standing committee (Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity Committee or URSAC) which works with OSP to support student and faculty efforts.
Annual URSAC events include:
- Choosing a student to represent SWOSU at Research Day at the Oklahoma Capitol;
- Selecting faculty to annually receive Proposal Development Awards to encourage external grant submissions; and
- Hosting the SWOSU Research and Scholarly Activity Fair during the spring semester.
