The College of Pharmacy at Southwestern Oklahoma State University consists of two academic departments which include faculty whose research spans diverse topics, including:
- Utilization of computer-aided drug design and benchtop research to discover and develop novel therapeutic lead compounds;
- Determination of the physiological and pharmacological mechanisms behind non-traditional therapies;
- Evaluation of therapeutics and counseling of patients; and
- Scholarship of teaching, pharmacy law, and pharmacy administration.
