Conference Centers & Facilities

We’ve Got Room

Located in western Oklahoma on the beautiful campus of SWOSU, sits several facilities ready to host your next conference, performance, meeting or special event. Since we are only an hour west of Oklahoma City, SWOSU is the perfect place to get away, but not too far away.

Timothy T. Day Business Enterprise Center

The Business Enterprise Center has three conference rooms and one outdoor space: Redbud Hall, an auditorium that seats up to 180 people; the Mesquite Room, a classroom that can accommodate up to 27 people; the Oak Room, a small conference room; and an outdoor deck with kitchenette. Each room can be setup in a variety of configurations to suit the needs of your event.

Pioneer Cellular Event Center

Western Oklahoma’s Premiere Pioneer Cellular Event Center, the arena has the capacity to hold more than 3,500 seats and can also be utilized to hold smaller amounts of seats to maximize the floor space for conventions and expos.

Memorial Student Center

The second floor of the renovated Student Union contains three meeting rooms and banquet facilities suitable for weddings, retirement dinners, corporate banquets, etc. The rooms are available for campus groups or organizations as well.  We can accommodate groups ranging from 20 - 300 people. We offer buffets, table service, or box lunches and trays for pick-up or delivery.

Fine Arts Center

This auditorium is intended primarily for the support of university-sponsored activities. However,  the Fine Arts Center, which seats 1,376, may be scheduled for appropriate university-related events.

Wellness Center

SWOSU’s Wellness Center has rentable space for retreats on the rock wall, banquets in the Wellness Center Sky box, or dances on the gym floor.

Crowder Lake

Crowder Lake University Park is a beautiful place for boating, camping, fishing, hiking and other outdoor pastimes. The park has RV sites and tent sites available for rent.

Challenge Course

SWOSU operates an extensive Challenge Course at Crowder Lake with both low and high elements designed to enhance group cohesion, communication skills, trust, problem solving abilities, self-confidence and leadership. Group rates are available.
