The COP supports the use of masks to decrease the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We will require the use of masks in the CPP building at all times in the classrooms and public areas for students, faculty, and staff. While we encourage use of masks outside of the CPP, we will defer to the requirements of individual rotation sites.
Students will be required to follow sites COVID-19 policies. These policies may be more stringent than the SWOSU guidelines for rotations.
If you are uncomfortable continuing with rotations because of concerns for your personal health or any accommodations that we make to deal with the current COVID-19 public health crisis, you can choose to withdraw from rotations. The rotations can be re-scheduled in the future when space is available. However, withdrawal or failure to complete any rotation could result in a delay of progression in the program and graduation. If you would like to discuss withdrawing from rotations, please contact the Director of Experiential Education, Dr. Cox.
